Recently i went to a couple of interesting places in NSW. Parkes is famous for the Dish.
I found the Dish fascinating. This address will give you more information
http://outreach.atnf.csiro.au/visiting/parkes/We also visited Corowa and visited the site were the japnese prisoners of war broke out.
The memorial cemetries for both the Australian soldiers from the area and the Japenese soldiers and civilans that were killed or died in the war years is very peaceful.
The japenese information centre is also worth a look. The Japanese government have sponsored some of the areas there.
